Jewellery & Studio Curator

We are seeking an experienced and inspirational Curator who will lead from the front in driving store sales and performance and provide exemplary customer service to our clients. 

This is a permanent role that works closely with and shares the role responsibilities with our Director of Sales.

Working with our hand-made Australian inspired products, our ideal candidate has experience in a customer service environment in fields such as interior design, marketing, or fashion, with a natural flair for creating conversation and stylising with clients.

In this role, your responsibilities include: 

  • Delivering and exceeding in sales and growth expectations
  • Has commercial acumen in driving results through product placement and product opportunities
  • Always be available to assist potential customers in a warm and naturally friendly manner - in store, by phone, email and social messages. 
  • Effectively manages store rosters and planning for fluctuations in trade and tasks
  • Leads by example in customer service, ensures staff are trained to deliver above-and-beyond service that is consistent with the brands service standards
  • Maximises sell-throughs and profitability of products through effective refilling, merchandising and stock management
  • Ensures the store maintains visual standards and merchandises stock to maximise sales potential
  • Recruits team members with the correct brand and cultural fit, competencies and behaviours
  • Provides team with a quality induction and introduction to the brand
  • Provides direction and appropriate feedback to team
  • Ensure safety and security of the business and our products is adhered to strictly
  • A large component of this role is styling clients and recommending and displaying items that match customer needs
  • Sell the experience of our jewellery and the stories that each piece is designed from
  • Work with our marketing team to deliver social media and marketing content
  • Website maintenance to ensure stock is current and up to date

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Retail Store Management experience in a bespoke brand environment with a minimum of 2 years leadership experience
  • Hands on and strong leader with the ability to motivate and mentor a team to achieve success.
  • Passion for styling and eye for detail to uphold our visual merchandising standards.
  • A natural ability to initiate conversation and uphold conversation with customers. 
  • Exposure to stock management.
  • Experienced in preparing monthly rosters and administration duties.
  • Proven ability in driving sales and achieving KPI'S & budgets.
  • High personal standards in providing superior customer service

Jewellery Curator

This is a permanent part time or casual role dependant on your availability. We are currently open Tuesday - Saturday.
